The Visit Austin activation at the 2024 Pitchfork Music Festival aimed to transport attendees to the heart of Austin’s vibrant music scene. The vision was to create an immersive experience that highlighted Austin’s status as the Live Music Capital of the World while providing a relaxing oasis within the festival.

The result was a three-day activation that welcomed thousands of festival-goers into a custom-designed lounge area, complete with exclusive artist interviews, a custom-built stage and carefully curated swag. All Terrain brought Austin’s famed live music culture vividly to life.

Our creative approach

Driven by a deep understanding of Chicago’s cultural heartbeat. We designed and built assets that amplified the city’s most renowned landmarks and created activations that were not just memorable but shareable. Every element—from immersive experiences to interactive touchpoints—was crafted to drive engagement and encourage guests to capture, share, and reflect on the magic of Chicago. By combining local pride, bold design, and a deep sense of place, we ensured the event was both a celebration and a content-rich experience that would resonate long after the lights went down.

 INTERACTIVE LOUNGE & ARTIST INTERVIEWS 

Guests enjoyed exclusive artist interviews with notable names like Brittany Howard, Muna, and Grandmaster Flash which fostered a deep connection between the audience and the music. At the heart of the activation was a relaxed lounge space, where visitors could unwind with Austin Ranch Water cocktails and friendly games of Cornhole. This carefully curated blend of storytelling, leisure, and interaction captured the laid-back spirit of Austin.

SWAG & GIVEAWAYS 

We elevated the guest experience with uniquely Austin-inspired swag that was both desirable and memorable. Fans, bandanas, tote bags, screen-printed shirts, koozies, and coasters. All items were strategically distributed to ensure maximum engagement. Additionally, a QR code promotion gave attendees the exciting opportunity to win a trip to Austin, further embedding the event in festival-goers’ minds as an unforgettable experience.
